Cleaning Tips to Change Your Life

The Magic 15 Minutes

The 15 minutes to a clean home method changed my life.

Perfectionism meant that such a small amount of time could not accomplish anything.

Consequently, once I finally tried it, I realized that less really could be more. Working in small increments of time keeps me focused. The goal is not always to complete a task but to make improvements.

You can have a clean home by cleaning for fifteen minutes at a time.

Below are the items I rely on while cleaning my home. I highly recommend all of them. One of the most important parts of a clean home is having the proper tools to complete the job.

Cleaning Tools for the Home

Microfiber Home Cleaning Set

I use a similar brand with the same concept as this cleaning set. The cloths have excellent reviews. Add this set to your cleaning line up today!

E-Cloth Deep Clean Mop

The E-Cloth mop works very similarly to the brand I use. Mopping is a breeze with this type. The concept is that you mop only with water because the cloth traps the dirt and bacteria. One amazing benefit is that you leave no residue behind that will attract more dirt and grime.

E-Cloth Deep Clean Variety Pack Microfiber Mop Head

Don’t forget the mopheads to go with the mop!

Method Antibacterial Toilet Bowl Cleaner

The Method Toilet Bowl Cleaner is my absolute favorite! No harsh chemicals but it does the job well and leaves behind a refreshing spearmint scent!

OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Squeegee

A good squeegee for the shower doors in your bathroom is a must. I use this very one and have seen excellent results. Use a squeegee on the shower doors, walls, and even the floor for the best results. This will cut down on cleaning time for your shower.

Toilet Bowl Brush and Holder Set

My toilet bowl brush is almost exactly like this one, just not the same brand. Silicone brushes are excellent because they are easy to keep clean and sanitized. I also prefer the way this brush is stored.

How Cleaning for 15 Minutes Works

Standing in the kitchen for long periods of time doing dishes is no fun. That is to say, I get bored and need to move on to something else.

Setting a 15-minute timer will give you focus and determination to get as much done as possible. As a result, after the 15 minutes are up, you can move on to another task such as taking clothes out of the dryer or putting a load into the washer. Later in the day, return to the kitchen for a second 15 minutes.

As a result of working 15 minutes at a time, you will have many tidy spaces.

Try 15 minutes at a time rather than cleaning from top to bottom and exhausting yourself.

Consequently, spend 15 minutes sweeping the floor or vacuuming if it applies.

You may not be able to pull out every piece of furniture and reach every corner this way. But even so, you will be able to make the floor look presentable.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, just clean enough for anyone that might stop by unannounced. This is the magic of cleaning for 15 minutes. There are times for deep cleaning, but in any case, it seems like the middle of the week is never an ideal time for that.
